New White Paper – Our Approach to ADD/ADHD
New England Tutors does not view ADD and ADHD as a disability, but as a unique ability that should be more openly embraced in the education community. In support of this belief we’ve just released our latest white paper, “Our Approach to ADD/ADHD.”
In this paper we discuss a complete definition of ADD/ADHD, the effects, the consequences, and quite frankly the utter frustration that some teachers, professionals, and parents encounter when faced with a child or young adult with ADD/ADHD. We’ll also help guide parents in a direction that is geared toward assisting the child positively make his or her own way in the world. Our experience has shown us that many students with ADD/ADHD are extremely intelligent but simply lack the skills necessary to put their intelligence to good use.
