New England Tutors is proudly supporting “Indie Rising”, a wonderful new TV series being filmed right in our own backyard.  Sweaty Turtle

“Indie Rising” is a new monthly TV series devoted to shining the spotlight on those artists native to New England who have risen above the fray in their particular field.  The show will be hosted by former Mrs. NH Christine Hunt and Boston based actor Maurice Toole-Robinson.   Behind the scenes putting everything together are some of the most talented folk from the seacoast and beyond.

Some of those that will be spotlighted on “Indie Rising” include:

  • a filmmaker who is making a film with a “name” actor,
  • an actor who gets lines in a major productions/national commercials
  • a musician/band who are achieving major recognition for their music
  • an author who achieves success or
  • an artist who gets major recognition
  • and many other artistic pathways.

The show will feature in depth discussions with those artists, highlight some of their creations, and follow them through their accomplishments.  Make sure to tune in to find out just who all these talented artist are.

It will air monthly on PPMTV in Portsmouth, Comcast Channel 98.  It will also air online both on PPMTV as well as on the Sweaty Turtle Youtube, and Vimeo pages.  You can learn more about Sweaty Turtle and “Indie Rising” on their Facebook Page.
