The adult and non-traditional student often faces some unique challenges to the traditional student.

Work Ready Program

NET and our partners (NHVR, guidance counselors, transition coordinators, career advisors) have collaborated to create a Work-Ready Social and Soft Skills program for small groups and individuals ages 16-adult.  Our small groups focus on Career/Job exploration, College Preparedness, Work Readiness, and On the Job Success. Each component is structured for small group interaction and skills building.  Modules include interview experience and feedback with local companies looking to hire, college campus visits, OTJ feedback and progress discussions, problem solving real life challenges, and more.

Executive Skills Coaching for the College Student and Beyond

New England Tutors presents evidence-based Executive Skills Coaching to help students whose academic performance is suffering due to deficits in executive skills, including time and task management, planning, organization, impulse control, and emotional regulation. Transitioning from high school to college can be a daunting experience for some. NET understands the unique needs of college students; their schedules, rigorous class demands, social pulls. We match each Student to their coach based on these unique needs and personality compatibility.
